Search engine optimization (SEO) is simply google positioning marketing. In other words, it is the rank of your website and how certain keywords are affiliated to your webpage. For instance, if I was to search “video commercial Bergen” and your company website appears at the top, this is SEO at work. However, this is the challenge as most people are unaware of SEO or downplay its massive influence in lead or sales generator. On the other hand there are abundant of agencies that offer SEO service, but unable to deliver the promised result, thus creating empty trusts. So, how should one do SEO without any help? Simple, the trick is to design a website with clear content (informative text) that is clear in what you offer, who you are, why you apart from others. Thereafter, you have to link your website with Google Search Console and Google Analytics to allow Google to be aware of your webpage and create a record of people who visit your website. Google does not track individual or profile, it tracks statistics i.e. demography which keyword they found you with, time of day, how long they stayed on your website before exiting to another etc. Yes, there are many other tools and technique to rank yourself with, however, this is the foundation to every SEO, and doing this you have already positioned yourself ahead of your competition!
